I got the chart from my first life coach, Heather Fillmore, and filling it out really helped me see what parts of my life needed some TLC. I came across it again during my Life Coaching classes. Honestly, filling out that chart every six months or so is super valuable!
The Wheel of Life can be broken down into about 8 categories: Love, Health, Spirituality, Career, Fun, Family/Friends, Creativity, and Finance. Spend some time on each one. Ask yourself questions to rate your satisfactory level. There is a list of questions provided to provoke thoughtful discovery. Once you have completed the wheel. You can begin to make a plan for revising your life.
Here’s a glimpse of my latest chart. Honestly, it feels like every part of my life could use a little TLC. Next up, I’m planning to pick one area to focus on, like Health, and start making some positive shifts. I just signed up at the local gym, so give me a couple of weeks and I’ll have more to add to my health section!

Focus on Specific Categories.
- Career: is your career headed in the right direction
- Health: Are you satisfied with your physical health, fitness, and diet?
- Family: How much time do you dedicate to them?
